How many times have you heard eduroam is down? Billions of people around the world face the problem of slow or no internet, every day. Slowify gets rid of that problem entirely. With Slowify, anybody with the app can share and receive network connection from each other with a mesh network. It works by using Wi-Fi Aware, a new protocol that lets phones talk to each other directly. Slowify uses that alongside an encrypted tunnel to forward Wi-Fi traffic between any number of devices. After we completed the research, we handed off to Devin alongside the Xcode MCP. Devin took this and ran with it, adding all of the Apple entitlements we needed and building an end-to-end TCP, ICMP, and UDP stack that the app uses to create a mesh network. Devin also orchestrated the front-end design and UI.
