what they built
I run a company with dozens of AI coding agents, and switching between terminals makes it easy to miss a question, a stuck task, or a finished job. I built Tower to give those agents one home. Tower is a self-hosted dashboard that launches Devin, Claude Code, and Codex through the Agent Client Protocol. It streams their work, brings permission requests and questions into one inbox, and lets you send follow-ups, interrupt work, and hand tasks between agents. Programs, Customers, and Routines boards organize the fleet. It also supports multiple accounts, usage-limit rotation, persistent sessions, notes, attachments, and live access to existing tmux sessions, with desktop and mobile layouts in light and dark mode. Devin built the project during this hackathon: a lead session coordinated parallel workers for the server, interface, environment setup, reviews, and testing. The result runs on my own server and already displays my real agent fleet. Devin helped build the tool that now manages Devin alongside other coding agents. Built with TypeScript, Node.js, React, Vite, WebSockets, and ACP, deployed privately over Tailscale. Inspired by my existing fleet workflow; Tower was created as a new project during the event. I took "use Devin" a little too seriously: I burned through my entire weekly quota building Tower. The usage screenshot is the receipt. Turns out the control tower needed to manage its own builder's usage, too. The interface screenshots use demo data to show the workflows without exposing my customer sessions.
