VIDEO2PR

Record a bug on screen; Devin watches the video, writes the bug report, fixes the code, and opens a pull request with before/after proof.

what they built

Most bug reports are just "it's broken": no steps, no expected vs. actual. But anyone can record their screen in ten seconds. video2pr turns that recording into a reviewed fix. Video in, PR out. What it does: upload a screen recording, or press "Report a bug" inside the app to record the tab directly. ffmpeg pulls key frames from the video. Devin looks at the frames itself and writes a structured bug report (title, steps, expected, actual, suspected area, severity). Then Devin reproduces the bug in a real browser, fixes the code, and opens a GitHub pull request with before/after screenshots. The job page shows every stage live, plus the root cause, the diff, the before/after evidence, and a timer. Several videos can run at once as parallel Devin sessions. One click turns Devin's report into a prefilled GitHub issue. How we built it: a FastAPI backend and a vanilla-JS frontend. ffmpeg/ffprobe extract the frames. Devin API v1 handles attachments (the frames), sessions (one per video), and structured output (the typed bug report). We also built GT Dining, a demo ordering app with four planted bugs, and a backup mode that runs the full flow without credits. What Devin did: Devin does the whole loop, from watching the video to proving the fix, with no other model involved. On a real run from the in-app "Report a bug" button, the report was ready at 0:33 and the PR opened at 1:24 (real elapsed time). Devin also helped build video2pr itself. A human reviews and merges; nothing ships on its own.
